About Us
True to You Speech Therapy is based in Driftwood, Texas. We are a small private practice dedicated to our clients' growth, and are proud to offer convenient treatment sessions in your home, community, and online via tele-therapy. Our ultimate goal is to help children use effective communication across settings to increase confidence and independence, as well as decrease any communication related frustration or inappropriate behaviors. Aside from teaching children directly, we love to teach and coach family members along the way, to support this goal. Given your consent, we are also happy to coordinate care with other professionals involved in your child's development.
Erin, our owner and Speech-Language Pathologist is licensed by the State of Texas and able to serve clients anywhere in the state. If you happen to find us and live in Texas, but not in or near Driftwood or Dripping Springs, we can still help!
We are currently scheduling tele-practice clients across the state! We'd love to share more about this treatment option. Please contact us today to discuss this option! Just click "contact us" on the horizontal menu at the top of the page.

Meet Erin
Erin Adamek is the owner of True to You Speech Therapy and a licensed, certified Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Texas. She has 16+ years of experience serving children and adults, and has worked in a variety of settings. She currently lives in Driftwood, Texas outside of Austin with her husband Rob and their three dogs. Erin began her post high school education journey at The University of Texas at Austin and majored in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Upon graduation from UT Austin, she attended graduate school at Baylor University in Waco, TX, earning a Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
Shortly after graduation, Erin began her career working with adults recovering from Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI) at an inpatient/outpatient rehabilitation facility. She quickly realized her love for a team approach to therapy and had the incredible chance to work alongside some talented Physical and Occupational Therapists as well as other Speech-Language Pathologists, Neuropsychologists, and Nurse Case Managers.

When she was ready for a change and some new experiences, Erin ventured into the world of Pediatrics. Over time, she has worked for a school district, local private practice, and a home health agency. Erin has experience serving children of various ages and diagnoses. Across these experiences, she continued to value a team approach to therapy, collaborating with family members of the kids on her caseload, along with other treating professionals. Erin is looking forward to helping your child reach his or her speech and language goals while providing family support and education along the way.
